Pending leave approvals
Enter time for an employee
Use this when an employee cannot submit their own request, for example a sick call-out. The entry is approved immediately and the balance updates right away. No separate approval is needed.
Adjust a balance
Add or remove hours of Vacation, Sick or Comp Time for one of your employees, for example a manual accrual or a correction. The balance changes right away and the adjustment is recorded in the employee's transaction history with your name and the reason.
Inactive employees
Everyone marked inactive appears here, whichever supervisor deactivated them. Any supervisor can reactivate someone under their own team, for example after a shift swap. Nothing is deleted.
Create employee account
Create an employee account, assign supervisors, and initialize the employee's leave balances. A temporary PIN will be generated.
Employee created
Give the temporary PIN to the employee securely. They must change it when they first sign in. This PIN is shown only once.
Employee start dates
Enter each employee's start date and accrual start date in one pass. Vacation anniversaries are counted from the accrual start date. When you enter a start date, the accrual date fills in to match unless you change it. Blank dates are left unchanged.
Vacation accrual
Vacation is granted as a lump sum on each work anniversary, counted from the accrual start date. At each anniversary, up to the carryover limit is kept and anything above it is forfeited, then the new yearly grant is added. The schedule can be changed on the Settings tab.
Due now
Sick leave accrual
Sick leave accrues every full month once an employee has passed the waiting period (counted from the accrual start date). The monthly hours and waiting days are set on the Settings tab.
Due now
Go-live dates
Only months and anniversaries on or after these dates are ever posted, so balances you have already entered are not double-counted. These are set once and only you can see or change them.
Military leave
Military leave is counted in days and only exists for employees whose "Military" box is checked on the Manage employees tab (or who were created with the Reserve / National Guard box). Each January 1 the balance becomes the unused days carried over (up to the carryover limit) plus the annual days. Both numbers are on the Settings tab.
Due now
Manage employees
Edit names, emails, supervisors and roles, mark Reserve / National Guard members, or reset a PIN. Resetting a PIN also unlocks the account.
Overtime / part-time pay request
This creates the Personnel Action Request form for payroll. It is only a form: it does not change your leave balances and it is not approved here. Print it and collect the signatures.
My pay requests
Pay hours worked
Overtime and part-time hours that employees entered on their pay request forms. This is only a record of hours worked. It does not affect any leave balance.
Totals by employee
All pay requests
Settings
These numbers drive the automatic accruals and comp time rules. Changes apply from the next posting and never change hours that were already posted.
Clear history
Deletes every leave request (including pending ones), every pay request and every manual adjustment from the history. Current balances are not changed, and the records of automatic accruals are kept so nothing is ever granted twice. This cannot be undone.
